Success Fund Hosts Homecoming Alumni Event - Friday, September 24
The Success Fund is hosting an alumni event before the September 24 Marshall Homecoming game and at half time. Marshall Alumni are invited to visit the Success Fund tent, which will be located on the Marshall High School grounds between the school and football field. Several retired teachers and administrators will be on hand to reconnect and share memories with alumni. A raffle for a Marshall High School Pride Print will be held, so alumni are encouraged to stop by the tent, sign up for the raffle, and see who else is at the game!
The Success Fund Alumni Committee plans to build a communication network with Marshall Alumni from all graduating classes. There are many Marshall Graduates no longer living in the area, so they are probably unaware of the Success Fund or the school district’s critical needs. The Committee will be reaching out to Marshall Alumni through one or two contacts per graduating class. The contacts are typically individuals who plan class reunions or organize other class communications and activities. Several classes have already come up with creative ways to contribute to the Success Fund. The Alumni Committee hopes others will give back to the school system that was a significant part of their educational experience.
